Steering column

I had to do a hibrid steering column because the key fitted in the golf 1 column i couldn't put the indicator/wiper stalk, so:
Key, indicator/wiper stalk and TDI shaft, MK1 column and half TDI column on the end because of the bearing.

Arrived home...

This is the story of a swap to electronic TDI VW engine in a A1 chassis of an American 30 years old Mk1 Rabbit (Golf in Europe) from USA, New Jersey, arrived in Portugal in '89 and bought by me in 2009.

The car:
VW Rabbit 1.5d
1500cc 50cv
'80 New jersey (Imported in '89 to Portugal)

Fase 1: Remove engine and wires
Fase 2: Adapt pedals and key
Fase 3: Put GTTDI wires, engine, FMIC
Fase 4: GTTDI brakes (Front 280mm, discs on the rear)
Fase 5: Restoration (Rust and holes, choose maybe a darker brown or original beije)
Fase 6: Modding (VNT20, race 0.260, plunger 12mm, Repro)
