Hy! Your blog is so so good, i read a lot blogs, but yours the best. I want to know something. How you fitted the mk3 steering rack. I want to apply power steering in my own little golf mk1. I read a lot about, but everywhere people says only mk1 cabriolet rack work, and some other rare cars rack. Please tell me something about it. bartatomee@gmail.com is my email adress. sorry for the delay i never go the the email that gets notifications. to fit the mk3 steering rack i did a support on the left side and use the original trimmed rubber on the right side. The ends had to be shortened too because the mk1 is smaller. I have a post about this in the beginning.
